This Privacy Policy explains how Caffeinated Math, a subsidiary of HJJB, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use U.S. Citizenship Test Prep (“the App”).

1. Our Privacy Commitment

U.S. Citizenship Test Prep is designed with privacy as a priority. Your study progress, test history, and bookmarks are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit your personal study data.

2. Data Collection

The App stores your test history, study progress, and bookmarks locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. No personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers.

3. Speech Recognition

When you use voice features (Interview Mode, Speech Match), your voice audio is processed to convert speech to text. On supported devices (iOS 13+), this processing happens entirely on your device. On older devices or when on-device recognition is unavailable, audio may be processed by Apple’s servers according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. Location

This app does not access your location. You manually select your state during setup for location-specific civics questions. This selection is stored only on your device.

5. Advertising

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can remove ads through a Premium subscription or one-time purchase.

6. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

7. Analytics

We do not collect analytics or usage data directly. Apple may collect anonymized usage data as part of App Analytics if you have opted in.

8. Data Storage

Your study data is stored locally on your device. This data:

  • Remains on your device
  • Is protected by iOS security
  • May be included in iCloud backups if enabled
  • May not persist across app reinstalls or device changes

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
