Every civics question and all of the practice modes are free. Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the ads and unlocks the progress and history features listed below.
Buy it once for $4.99 and it stays unlocked on every device signed in to your Apple Account.
Pro and Remove Ads are both sold in the app under Settings → Get Pro.

Both versions use the same question bank and run the same practice tests. Everything Pro adds sits in the Progress, history and extras group above, from the ad-free app and detailed analytics to missed-question review and the home screen widget.
Just want the ads gone?
Remove Ads is a separate one-time purchase for $1.99 that clears every banner and interstitial ad out of the app. Pro already includes ad removal, so it is one purchase or the other.
What “one-time” covers
Pro is sold as a dated edition, and the one on sale today is Pro 2026-2027.
Pro 2026-2027 covers every Pro feature listed above, along with improvements to those features and anything new we ship through the end of 2027.
After that window, substantially new features may be offered as a later edition (for example, Pro 2026-2028) sold separately. If you already own Pro 2026-2027 you keep every feature you paid for — a later edition does not take anything away. It adds the newer work on top.
Your edition does not expire. Pro 2026-2027 keeps unlocking everything it covered at the time of purchase, whether or not a newer edition is on sale.
Restoring a purchase
On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore Purchases. Restoring does not charge you a second time.
If Pro does not come back, check that you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
